‘Jetpack man’ haunts pilots once more

The FAA is investigating mysterious sighting close to Los Angeles airport

The Federal Aviation Administration has launched a probe into one more alleged encounter close to Los Angeles Worldwide Airport this week, after a pilot getting ready to land alerted the management tower about an object that resembled an individual flying a jetpack.

“We heard that the jetpack man is again,” an air site visitors controller could possibly be heard saying in audio obtained by Fox 11 on Saturday. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed in an announcement that an “airline pilot reported seeing an object that may have resembled a jetpack 15 miles east of Los Angeles Worldwide Airport’” round 2:45pm on Thursday.

“The FAA has labored intently with the FBI to research each reported jetpack sighting,” the company added, noting nevertheless that “thus far, none of those sightings have been verified.”
